Cole Green

Transdisciplinary Program Coordinator

Cole Green is the Transdisciplinary Program Coordinator for the Appalachian Justice Research Center at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he recently completed his PhD in Human Development and Family Science. His work focuses on community-rooted approaches to justice and safety, with experience collaborating alongside students, faculty, and community partners across Appalachia. Cole was involved in the early stages of the AJRC, working with Knoxville youth and parents to explore school safety, and has remained an active member through his ongoing work with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. His background spans qualitative and quantitative research, student mentorship, and project coordination across interdisciplinary teams.
