Tory Mills

Transdisciplinary Program Manager, AJRC

Tory Mills is a lifelong East Tennessean and University of Tennessee alumnus with over a decade of experience as a community organizer, facilitator, and leader in grassroots and nonprofit social justice work. As the Director of Community Engagement for Planned Parenthood of Tennessee and North Mississippi, Tory led an array of grant-funded programs and projects including a collaborative research project on abortion attitudes with UT faculty and students. She has been actively involved in grassroots advocacy and policy campaigns for reproductive justice, participatory democracy, and worker’s rights. With deep roots in Appalachia, Tory brings a fierce love for and dedication to building communities where every Appalachian can thrive.
